The most advanced
AI training app.

Thruster writes your training, checks your form on video, writes the warm-up for the session ahead and tracks your progress towards every goal you set. MetCon, Gym, HIIT, Calisthenics, Running and Mobility — each with its own kit, its own goals and a coach that has read your whole logbook: your maxes, your recent scores and how hard they were, and the movements you still scale.

iPhone and Android · 7 days of Pro free · The timer, logbook and goals are free forever

Four things the AI does for you

AI form check

Film a set from the side. The AI watches your reps and tells you what to fix, where in the rep it happens, why it matters — and the drill that corrects it. Up to a minute, no sound.

AI workouts for every way you train

MetCon, Gym, HIIT, Calisthenics, Running and Mobility. Tell it how long you have; it writes today's session from your logbook and the kit you actually own, and says which goal it moves.

AI warm-ups

For exactly what you're about to do — a coach session, a benchmark, or the workout chalked on your gym's whiteboard — with the movements and loads in it.

An AI training plan

Pick your days, what you want to train and a goal. It lays out weeks on your calendar with deloads built in, and writes each day's session on the day, from how training is really going.

🎯

It tracks your progress

Goals that match how you train — a heavier lift, a faster benchmark, a 5 km time, strict pull-ups, a longer hold, sessions a week — measured from where you started. Every session the coach writes says which goal it moved.

🧠

It trains the limiter, not the target

A sub-4 Fran is not bought by doing Fran every week. It's bought by unbroken thruster capacity and chest-to-bar cycling under fatigue. That is what lands on your whiteboard.

📈

It reads the whole logbook

Your one-rep maxes, so the loads are real numbers. Your last five scores and the RPE you left them at, so it won't stack a third redline session on a bad week. Your Rx rate per movement, so it programs the thing you keep scaling instead of politely avoiding it.

📷

No more typing in the WOD

One photo of the whiteboard and you have a timer, a log entry and a leaderboard. It shows you what it read before it saves anything — and the photo is deleted from your phone before the request even finishes.

A clock you can trust

Thruster reads the clock instead of counting ticks, so a 20-minute AMRAP is 20 minutes even with the screen off and the phone on the floor. Cues play on the alarm channel, so you hear them over your music.

🏅

PRs, compared properly

Log a score and Thruster tells you if you beat your best — matching Rx against Rx and scaled against scaled, so you never get a medal for doing less work. Hit a target and it closes itself.

Tell it what you're training for

Two taps. A number on a bar, a benchmark time, or "stop scaling this". If you can't summarise a year of training into a number on the spot, it reads your logbook and offers you three — the next plate on your heaviest lift, ten percent off a benchmark you've actually done, the movement you scale most.

Fran 62% 4:48 → 4:00 9 weeks left ████████████████░░░░░░░░░░ Back Squat 35% 132 kg → 145 kg behind Chest-to-Bar Pull-Up 40% 40% Rx → Rx every session 12 weeks left

Then ask for a session. Twenty minutes, a barbell and a pull-up bar, and you went long yesterday:

Ladder Season For time (12 min cap): 21-15-9 Thruster (43/30 kg) Chest-to-Bar Pull-Up WHAT THIS MOVES Fran. Same two movements, same rep ladder, 60% of the volume — this is where you buy the 48 seconds, not on Fran itself. Coach: this is a sprint, not a grinder — you went long yesterday. Pick a thruster weight you can take unbroken for 21. The trap is the set of 15: everyone breaks it into three and loses a minute standing over the bar.

It refuses to claim a link it doesn't have. On a deload, or a day when nothing you're chasing was trainable with the time and kit you had, that line is simply absent — which is how you know it means something when it isn't.

What's in it

Everything you'd expect from a WOD app, plus the things that only matter once you are standing at the bar.

Goals for every type

Lifts and benchmarks, race times and longest run, max reps and holds, sessions a week. Progress measured from where you started, with a deadline that tells you when to worry.

AI form check

Video analysis of your technique: the fault, the moment in the rep, why it matters and the drill to fix it.

The coach

One session at a time, written against your targets, your maxes, your recent load and your Rx history. Real loads, real volume, and the trap most people fall into.

Whiteboard scanner

Photograph the board, get a structured workout. Handwriting, glare, gym shorthand — it reads all of it, and tells you when it's unsure.

AI warm-ups

For the session you're about to do, whoever programmed it — including the one your coach chalked up this morning.

Every timer format

For time, AMRAP, EMOM and E2MOM, Tabata, custom intervals, rest. Splits with a tap.

The benchmark library

Fran, Helen, Grace, Isabel, Diane, Cindy, Murph, DT, Kalsu, the Total — seeded, so it's useful on day one.

Strength log

Sets, reps, RPE, and an estimated 1RM from any set you log — not just the ones you max out.

Plate calculator

Draws the discs at the right sizes so you can match the picture to the bar. Rounds down, never up, and says when it did.

Movement library

133 movements with the actual Rx standard written out, what to master first, what each one unlocks — and your own Rx rate on every one.

Your box

Join with a code. Leaderboards per workout, for the people you actually train with. What you substituted — and what you're chasing — stays in your own logbook.

Seven languages

English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português and עברית — including the movement names, the benchmark descriptions and everything the coach writes.

A training plan

Weeks on your calendar with deloads built in. Move a day you missed; each session is written on the day.

Why this isn't a workout generator

The difference is what the model is given before it writes a word.

A generator knows

How long you've got. What equipment you have. Maybe your experience level, if it asked.

Thruster's coach knows

All of that, plus every target you've set and how far off each one is. Your one-rep maxes. Your last five sessions with the scores and the RPE. The share of sessions you've gone Rx on every movement in the library, and what you substituted when you didn't.

Which is why

It won't program ring muscle-ups for someone who has scaled them nine times out of ten — and it won't quietly drop them either. It programs them at a volume you can finish, and writes the scaling notes for you rather than for a generic beginner.
